Tyler Sharp Photography – Dallas, TX | 2008 – Present

Extensive travel on assignment as a documentary photographer, writer and videographer, shooting photo essays, writing stories, and filming for organizations and television shows. Also producing limited edition archival prints, fine art books, and short films for both exhibition and private collection.

PhotoCine News – Los Angeles, CA | 2010 – Present

Part time contributor to this online publication specializing in news related to the hybridization of still and video camera systems, i.e. Photo-Cine. Responsible for developing innovative content related to the emerging technology, as well as creating multimedia projects from the field that showcase the versatility of professional still cameras systems with HD video capability.

GHR/Adventures Wild – Dallas, TX | 2008 – 2010

Lead cameraman, photographer, and editor for this outdoor expedition company. Traveled extensively throughout Africa, Asia, and the South Pacific, working from the field to produce numerous DVDs, publications, and television shows. Responsible for all aspects of planning and production, equipment maintenance, as well as visas, permits, transportation and logistics.

Artizen Studios – Dallas, TX |  2007 – 2008

Lead artist and resident photographer at this print studio specializing in limited edition archival prints, giclée reproductions, and high resolution scanning. Performed archival scanning and printing services for a variety of artists and clients, photographed artwork for reproduction, and documented gallery openings and artist talks.

Sharp Imaging – Dallas, TX | 2005 – 2008

Freelance production company offering photography, video, editing , design and printing services. Extensive knowledge of both still and video camera systems , lighting , sound capture, archival printing, and digital asset management. Expertise in Final Cut Studio, Adobe Creative Suite, Aperture, Light Room, Apple Computer Systems, and Microsoft Office.

Sight Effects – Digital Lab – Venice, CA | 2003 – 2006

Junior artist at this company specializing in the design and production of visual effects for commercials, feature films, and music videos. Responsible for DVD production and quality control, 2D compositing jobs, as well as organizing and cataloging tape archives and backups.
