About

Tyler Sharp is a photographer, writer, and videographer, whose cultural sensitivity has gained him many unique experiences. Travelling extensively for various assignments, Tyler has filmed and photographed a myriad of cultures and landscapes, written short stories and photo essays, and slept under the stars in some of the most remote regions of the world.

Sojourning throughout Africa, Asia, Europe, and the South Pacific, Sharp has encountered ancient and primitive tribes, howled with wolves in the Siberian tundra, swam in the lakes of Kashmir, survived buffalo and lion attacks in the wilds of Africa, and witnessed terrorist attacks in Pakistan. His work has been shown in Dallas, Houston, and Los Angeles.

A Texas native, Tyler attended the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, where he studied photography, video, philosophy, psychology and Italian. Sharp also studies the art of Shaolin Kung Fu.

Tyler currently lives in Dallas, Texas, but frequents Los Angeles and San Francisco to pursue new opportunities. He is also a contributor to PhotoCine News.
